Marshmallows have been reading an article on Ramadan. Ramadan is part of the Islamic religion (Muslims). The date of Ramadan changes each year and it starts when we can see the new moon in the ninth month of Islamic calendar. It lasts for a whole month and you don't eat or drink between sunrise and sunset! This is called fasting. At the end of Ramadan, Muslims celebrate it with Eid al- Fitr, the festival of breaking the fast.
