All About Science

Last Tuesday The Auckland University Incredible Science Roadshow came to our school. We started the day with a hover board that was powered by a leaf blower! After that we went to observe a vibrating plate with salt on it. Depending how fast the plate was going, the salt made different patterns.

After morning tea, we went into the school hall and made slime, origami and studied the cauliflower's DNA under the microscope. The last activity of the day was a highlight! We made coke volcano with Diet Coke and Mentos lollies. That was a lot of fun.

This afternoon we had a Syndicate Project Sharing time. We visited all the Y3/4 classes and had a look at all the projects designed by the Y3 and 4s.
